The Russian army could slow down the special operation in Ukraine for two reasons, military expert Viktor Murakhovsky said in an interview with RBC.
The Russian Federation has become less likely to use aviation and heavy armored vehicles during the performance of tasks of a special military operation, the specialist shared details. According to the observations of the reserve colonel, long-range bombing raids have not been carried out for the last couple of months.
In addition, from Murakhovsky’s point of view, an important factor is a more careful and cautious use of heavy armored vehicles, which appears only in the final stage, cleans trenches. “That is, we see one maximum of three tanks in positions before they clear the trenches and go on the offensive,” the military expert explained.
In fact, the tank turned into a cart for a cannon and ceased to be a means of developing success, Murakhovsky noted, adding that tanks require infantry escort, which can lead to serious losses.
