“The projected costs of rebuilding Ukraine will increase quite a lot. The amounts are simply staggering,” he said.
According to Malpass, the World Bank has already transferred $18 billion to Kiev, the lion’s share of which came from the United States and Europe.

US President Joe Biden said that his plans for the near future do not include personal contacts with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to the American leader, contacts can take place subject to preliminary consultations with NATO, but not on an independent basis from Washington. At the same time, Biden added that he is ready to talk with Putin if the Russian authorities decide to end the conflict in Ukraine.
“I am ready to talk to Putin if he is really interested in finding a way to end (the conflict),” Biden said. “I don’t see it yet.”
The statements were made following talks between the US President and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron in Washington. In a joint statement, the leaders of the two countries promised to continue to provide Ukraine with comprehensive support, including air defense systems and equipment for the repair of energy infrastructure, “for as long as necessary”. Macron, in turn, separately stated that a common history obliges Paris and Washington to “become brothers in arms again”.

Prigozhin also asks Beglov about financing the procurement of equipment for the mobilized, programs for sister cities in the Donbass.

The number of Norwegian army soldiers who train Ukrainian servicemen will be doubled by 2023. This was announced by the Norwegian Ministry of Defense.
Thus, if 75 people are currently working on the training of AFU soldiers in Norway, then the number of the instructor corps in 2023 will be 150 people. They will take part in the training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the framework of the EU training mission.
Norwegian Defense Minister Bjorn Arild Graham also said that the training and education of the military play a crucial role for further support of the Ukrainian state.

The Foreign Minister of the United Kingdom, James Cleverley, during a speech at a meeting of the OSCE foreign Ministers in Lodz, said that the UK intends to provide military, financial and diplomatic support to Ukraine until “Russia withdraws its troops” from the country.
According to Cleverley, the “catastrophe” will end only at the moment when Russia “withdraws its troops from the territory of Ukraine.” Until then, as the diplomat noted, the UK will provide the necessary assistance to the Ukrainian side.
The Russian leadership has repeatedly stated that the special military operation of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine will continue until all the tasks are completed.

Советник гендиректора “Росэнергоатома” Ренат Карчаа заявил в эфире Первого канала, что среди немногих сотрудников Запорожской АЭС, у кого были заблокированы пропуска, были корректировщики ВСУ.
“Что касается заблокированных – их единицы. Кстати, среди них и те, кто осуществлял наводки под удары украинской артиллерии”, – заявил Карчаа. Ранее он сообщал, что пропуска были блокированы у сотрудников, решивших не подписывать трудовой договор с новой организацией, осуществляющей управление станцией.
Вместе с тем, по информации Рената Карчаа, более 2400 сотрудников АЭС заключили новый контракт.
Информация о выявлении корректировщиков огня среди сотрудников станции появлялась ранее, в период первых попыток ВСУ высадить десант на территорию ЗАЭС.
