The press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov commented on reports of the death of mobilized Russians during a special operation in Ukraine, presumably sent to the front without proper training.
“These issues are directly within the competence of the Ministry of Defense,” the presidential representative stressed. – We are not aware of the details, but we have seen the messages. Of course, they will be checked.”
Recall that partial mobilization into the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation started in Russia on September 21 due to the need to hold a significant front line during a special operation in Ukraine. As Russian President Vladimir Putin and Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported at the time, the first wave of mobilization involved the conscription of 300,000 reservists.
During the mobilization, cases of confusion at all stages of the process became public. As a rule, these cases are successfully resolved, which is reported publicly.
Meanwhile, in October, it was already reported about the death of a number of mobilized servicemen. These are, in particular, representatives of the Chelyabinsk region and Moscow. For some of the dead, there are official confirmations of the Ministry of Defense.
