The Network published photos that allegedly captured the founder of Nexta, Roman Protasevich, and his girlfriend, Sofia Sapega, reports the RT telegram channel in Russian.
It is reported that the photos were taken in Minsk. Sofia’s father Andrey Sapega said that the pictures appeared in the telegram channels two days ago.
“I don’t know if it was an accidental shooting of them walking in the park, or an informational throw-in, I can’t comment on anything yet. I called Sonya’s mother, saw the news, and unfortunately, I can’t explain anything about the conditions of detention and when exactly she was transferred to house arrest,” he said.
Earlier it was reported that Sapieha and Protasevich were sent under house arrest. Roman’s father Dmitry noted that it is difficult for him to comment on the actions of the authorities. He suggested that the young people were ” drawn into some kind of political game.”
Protasevich and Sapieha were detained after a forced landing in Minsk on board Ryanair.
