Alexey Pushkov, a member of the Federation Council of Russia, commented on the decision of the British authorities to introduce water rationing for citizens in his Telegram channel.
He noted that earlier other European countries were forced to resort to various austerity measures due to the negative impact that the anti-Russian sanctions of the West have on the European economy.
“In Germany, it is recommended to take a shower once a week… In Britain, with all its rains, water rationing is introduced. In Italy, gas will be made from garbage to make up for the shortage of supplies from Russia. Something is changing in the hitherto prosperous Western world,” Pushkov wrote.
