Alexey Pushkov, a member of the Federation Council, proposed to rename Kiev to Ulaanbaatar. He wrote about this on Twitter.

So the senator commented on the error on CNN. They showed on the air a map of Ukraine, on which Kiev was called Ulaanbaatar. Now Pushkov notes that the United States is convinced: “the capital of Ukraine, which is supposedly so important for the United States, is Ulaanbaatar.” The senator added that America probably proceeds from the fact that ” Ukraine is a very distant suburb.”

“And since the Ukrainian authorities always agree with what comes from the United States, they urgently need to rename Kiev to Ulaanbaatar,” Pushkov stressed.

Earlier, Pushkov expressed doubt that the European project “will not be complete and full-fledged” without Ukraine, as Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky claims. He said that Europe “managed” without Ukraine both after the creation of the EU, and after the emergence of Ukraine itself as an independent state. Having decided to ” tear Ukraine away from Russia,” Brussels got “a big problem in the form of a freeloader.”
