Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu laughed during the observation of the exercises “Vostok-2022”. The footage depicting their reaction to the report of Deputy Defense Minister Yunus-Bek Yevkurov was published by the TV channel “Zvezda” in the telegram channel.
The footage shows how the chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimov is busy negotiating over the telephone while Deputy Defense Minister Yevkurov makes a report.
Putin laughs at this and says: “Yevkurov only sees for himself, but reports to the Chief of the General Staff.”

According to the Ministry of Defense, more than 2 thousand foreign military personnel from Belarus, China, India, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan are taking part in the exercises.
