Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergey Kiriyenko to prepare a list of tasks for Gazprom on gasification of a number of cities in the country.
Gasification of Russian cities is carried out within the framework of the “Clean Air” program. The corresponding request was previously addressed to the head of state by the head of the Ministry of Natural Resources Alexander Kozlov.
As a priority, 12 cities of the country should be gasified, the environmental situation in which is recognized as unfavorable. Among them are Novokuznetsk, Bratsk, Nizhny Tagil, Omsk and a number of other cities.
The President told the Minister of Nature that he would draw Gazprom’s attention to the need to solve this problem, and also prepare an instruction.
