The governor of the Pskov region, Mikhail Vedernikov, wrote in his telegram channel that queues of people wishing to leave Russia had formed in the region. Recall that the region borders with Belarus, Estonia and Latvia.
“The situation is not easy. There are many citizens of Ukraine among those who leave&”,” Vedernikov said, adding that there are those who are trying to withdraw currency in excess of the norms established by law, as well as antiques, art and prohibited goods.
According to Vedernikov, there are also Russians of military age in the queue, who undergo appropriate checks at mobile recruitment centers. The governor added that the neighbors are in no hurry to release the Russians.
Vedernikov suggested that the Russians monitor the situation and choose less busy routes.
