Residents of Zaporozhye blocked the highway in protest against Kiev

People living in the part of the Zaporozhye region controlled by the Ukrainian authorities, forgiving the actions of Kiev, who organized problems at checkpoints (checkpoints), blocked the Orekhovskaya highway in protest. This was announced on Wednesday, September 28, by the chairman of the movement “We are together with Russia” Vladimir Rogov in his Telegram channel.

“In Zaporozhye, people who are not allowed to enter the liberated territory blocked the road in protest and demand to be released,” he said, posting photos from the scene in a messenger.

Rogov added that the authorities in Kiev deliberately create difficulties and block access to the liberated part of the Zaporozhye region through the creation of a system of approvals, electronic queues, security checks, as well as by organizing additional problems at the checkpoint. As a result, residents of the region have to wait weeks for an opportunity to leave. According to the chairman of the movement “We are together with Russia”, Ukraine made it difficult to leave its territory intentionally so that the residents of Zaporozhye could not take part in a referendum on the issue of the region becoming part of our country.

Recall that from September 23 to 27, referendums on joining the Russian Federation were held in the DPR and LPR, the Kherson region and in the liberated territories of the Zaporozhye region. The voting was attended by international observers. The public turned to the regional authorities with the initiative to hold referendums the day before. According to the heads of the administrations of the republics and regions, joining Russia will restore historical justice and will be able to secure these territories at another level. Suchthe will of the people is especially important in the conditions of constant terrorist attacks by the Kiev authorities and NATO members who provide weapons to kill civilians. It is already known that according to the results of processing 100% of protocols in the Zaporozhye region, 93.1% of those who took part in the referendum voted for joining Russia.

On September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that our country would support “the decision on its future, which will be made by the majority of residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.”
