Ukrainian servicemen sent a large number of drones to the contact line in the Zaporozhye region. This was announced on Tuesday, October 18, by the head of the movement “We are together with Russia”, a member of the main council of the regional administration Vladimir Rogov.
“Whole armadas of drones with suspensions, (they) are being sent now more than ever,” he told reporters. “They have dozens of new drones.”
Rogov added that the APU has reconnaissance drones, but most often they are equipped with suspensions with improvised explosive devices.
Earlier, about 10 Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRG) were found in the Zaporozhye region. Rogov said that they were found thanks to the use of drones. After the discovery, the allied forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the republics of Donbass opened artillery fire on Ukrainian saboteurs. At the same time, Rogov pointed out that suchattempts to probe the Russian defense by the AFU have become more frequent. The politician added that we are talking about special groups of up to ten people who tried to get behind the front line in different directions. But after the use of artillery fire by the Russian side, the DRG suffered heavy losses and had to return to their original positions.
