There is a danger of escalation in Pridnestrovie, it is important that the neighboring states with the unrecognized republic understand the risks of “unfreezing” the conflict, said Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Vitaly Tryapitsyn.
According to the diplomat, in April-July several “terrorist acts” were committed in Transnistria, the traces of which, according to Tiraspol, lead to Ukraine.
The Ambassador clarified that, according to his feelings, both sides are well aware of what the “hot” scenario and “unfreezing” of the conflict are fraught with.
At the end of April, three terrorist attacks were committed in Transnistria in the building of the Ministry of State Security of the unrecognized republic in Tiraspol, near a military unit near the village of Parkany and on the tower of the radio center near the village of Mayak. The region has declared a “red” level of terrorist security.
