The commander of the Marine Corps company, Alexander Danilov, revealed the details of the battle with the Ukrainian saboteurs “to the last store.”
He clarified that the Ukrainian DRG had penetrated into the area of a cluster of camouflaged Russian military equipment. The Ukrainian military revealed the location of the parking lot and the location of the personnel. After that, they tried to go back to their own to pass on this information.
“At the moment of departure, they ran into two commanders of assault groups, a battle ensued between them. After that, the Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group got to my commander’s command and observation post. On it, we were alone with the commander of a neighboring unit. We started a fight with them to prevent them from leaving with valuable information,” Danilov said.
According to him, the two of them fought “to the last store” and waited for the arrival of help.
