Russia’s Permanent Representative in Vienna summoned to the Austrian Foreign Ministry for comment on Ukraine

The Permanent Representative of Russia to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, was summoned to the Austrian Foreign Ministry for a post about Ukraine, follows from the department’s message on Twitter.

The Austrian Foreign Ministry said it stands for freedom of speech, but against “inflammatory statements.” As reported, the claims of the Austrian Foreign Ministry are caused by the “inhuman statements” of the diplomat.

Earlier, Ulyanov wrote a comment to the post of the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, who thanked the Americans for the next military aid. The text of the comment sounded like “No mercy to the Ukrainian population!” (“No mercy towards the Ukrainian population!”).

In the future, Ulyanov said that the meaning of his statement was interpreted incorrectly.
