The call of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to NATO to strike at the decision-making center of the Russian Federation in case of strikes on Kiev sounds like agony, the head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky believes.

He expressed this opinion to the Canadian TV channel CTV, commenting on the statement of the Ukrainian president.

Earlier, Zelensky said that in the event of a strike on Kiev, a blow to the decision-making center in Russia from Ukraine’s allies should follow.

Slutsky also wrote on his telegram channel on Sunday that “the puppet Zelensky is openly pushing his Western puppeteers to the third World War.”

The deputy also noted that more and more world politicians are saying that Western countries “should not be allowed to get involved in a direct conflict with Russia.” In addition, more and more criticism is being voiced because of “military and financial support for Ukraine.”

As Slutsky noted, “against this background, Zelensky’s calls sound like agony and a consequence of “shock”. The deputy believes that the President of Ukraine was shocked by “the realization of the impending failure of the Anti-Russia project.”
