Sources among the delegations of the participating countries of the United Nations told reporters that the United States and allies are actively trying to persuade other delegations to support the Western draft resolution denying the results of referendums in the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
Meanwhile, it is noted that Russia offered a more reasonable option for holding such a vote – to make it secret.
“Russia proposes to hold a secret vote on the draft resolution submitted by the West, which could reduce the number of countries supporting it,” the sources note.
