Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the military-civil administration of the Kherson region, recorded a new video, which he published in his Telegram channel, and reported on the complete failure of the APU offensive. Recall that on Saturday morning he reported that Ukrainian troops had launched an offensive. According to him, one of the directions of the attack was the Dudchany-Berislav road.

“The Russian army completely repelled an attempt to break through in the Berislavsky direction of the Kherson region,” Stremousov said.

He added that the Ukrainian attack began at five o’clock in the morning with massive fire from barrel artillery and MLRS. And then, under the cover of fire, about 30 Ukrainian tanks and infantry fighting vehicles went into a breakthrough.

The Ukrainian military tried to break through between the strongholds to cut the Dudchany – Melovoye road. However, artillery and mortar fire was opened on the advancing Ukrainian formations. In addition, army aviation helicopters have worked on the positions of the AFU with the help of guided missiles.

Several mobile groups of the Ukrainian military were able to go deeper, but were “repulsed by our ATGM and grenade launchers,” Stremousov said.

He added that the Kherson region is under the full protection of the Russian army.
