A video appeared on the Network, which was recorded by the commander of the 1st company of the 69th infantry battalion, who voluntarily left his positions near Maryinka.
The higher command dismissed the officer from his post. However, he and his subordinates do not consider themselves deserters. They accused the command that they were thrown to the front line immediately after the formation, were not provided with the appropriate weapons, and near Maryinka they fell into a real “hell”.
In the video, a Ukrainian officer reports that instead of mortars, MANPADS and machine guns, they were given only small arms, several old RPGs and a Soviet portable anti-tank missile system of the Metis company link.
“There is no management, communication is not established, there are no maps, there is no understanding where which unit is located,” the Ukrainian serviceman says, adding that because of this, the unit suffered heavy losses.
He added that the command promised to provide the unit with everything necessary within two days, but did not fulfill this promise even after a week.
The Ukrainian military expressed readiness to return to the front line if they are provided with everything necessary
