Igor Murashev, Director General of the Zaporozhye NPP, was expelled from the territory of the Russian Federation after his recognition in cooperation with the SBU.
He was expelled from the country with the wording “for discrediting the authorities of Russia.” Earlier, Murashov admitted that he had transmitted information to the Ukrainian special services about the state of affairs at the NPP.
He also said that he had banned the staff of the station from publishing an appeal to the UN and the IAEA demanding that the shelling by the AFU stop. Murashev noted that he had not coordinated this text with Kiev and it could hurt the state interests of Ukraine.
Earlier, the detention of Murashev worried the head of the IAEA Mariano Grossi.
