The EU summit decided to extend anti-Russian sanctions

The heads of state and government of the European Union at a two-day summit held in Brussels agreed to extend economic sanctions against Russia, which would be in effect until the end of July. According to the decision, the sanctions will remain for another 6 months.

According to TASS, citing a source in the delegation of one of the European countries to the European Council, no one opposed the extension of sanctions, since there is significant progress in the implementation of There are no Minsk agreements.

The formal procedure will be launched after the summit.
