In London, the entrance to 10 Downing Street, where the official residence of the Prime Minister of Great Britain is located, was decorated by florists for the day of Ukraine, which is celebrated on August 23, in the colors of the flag of this country.
Ukrainian social networks actively post photos of the entrance to the residence, next to which sunflowers and various blue flowers flaunt.
The action is also timed to the Independence Day of Ukraine (August 24).
Until now, the head of the UK government is formally Boris Johnson, who demonstrates support for Kiev in this way.
Johnson resigned after a series of scandals related to his name. But he will actually resign from his post after the name of the new prime minister is announced. This is expected on September 5.
