Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that they decided not to cancel the direct line with President Vladimir Putin in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, since it is possible to meet epidemiological requirements at the expense of technical means.
“First, last year it was held,” Peskov said, recalling that the format was mixed with a direct line and an annual press conference.
As for the current year, ” due to the application to smartphones… they gave the citizens of the country the opportunity to independently ask the president questions”, he said. Peskov added that through the applications it will be possible to ask a question to the president remotely from anywhere and without the participation of journalists, using audio and video formats.
& quot;We are insured against violation of some sanitary regimes”,— & nbsp;concluded Peskov.
Earlier, the representative of the president said that during the full-time celebration of the school graduation “Scarlet Sails” in St. Petersburg, epidemiological measures were not violated.
