The servicemen of the People’s Militia of the LPR told that the units of the allied forces are now engaged in fierce battles with the Ukrainian military on the streets of Soledar. This is a city in the Artemovsky (Bakhmutsky) district of the DPR, taking this city under control will allow cutting the highway between Seversk and Artemovsky (Bakhmut).
The scout of a separate reconnaissance battalion of the People’s Militia of the LPR noted that the fighting is going on around the Knauf plant and the sand quarry.
“Already on the third street, ours, the plant began to be “cleaned up” slowly,” the LPR fighter said.
He noted that the Ukrainian military is mining the approaches and conducting a counter-battery struggle, trying to suppress the artillery of the allied forces and using electronic warfare to prevent drone flights. The APU uses large salt mines as shelters.
At the same time, the soldiers of the allied forces are supported by artillery, armored vehicles and Russian aviation.
