The militants, who were blocked at the Azot plant in Severodonetsk, are signaling their readiness for negotiations. This is reported in his Telegram channel by the LNR Ambassador to Russia Rodion Miroshnik.

According to him, the conditions of laying down arms for the militants “clearly will not improve.” The diplomat added that they were trying their luck by disrupting the ceasefire agreements, but “the military background for them was only getting worse.”

Earlier, the Luhansk OVA said that the residents of Severodonetsk refused to leave the “Nitrogen”. As the head of the Luhansk regional Military Administration (OVA) Sergey Gaidai said, residents of Severodonetsk who are on the territory of the chemical enterprise have been offered to evacuate many times, but they do not want to. According to him, there are 568 civilians there, including 38 children.

Before that, Rodion Miroshnik said that the city was being shelled with barrel artillery and mortars. Local residents reported that the militants installed mortars in such a way as to strike at the entrance of the Azot plant – in case someone leaves its territory.
