The Russian Ministry of Defense issued a statement on Sunday, October 16, stating that the Russian Armed Forces had been attacking military command facilities and the energy system of Ukraine during the day.
As noted in the documents, new strikes were inflicted by high-precision long-range air-based weapons.
“The goals of the strikes have been achieved. All designated facilities are affected,” the statement emphasizes.
Recall that, as previously reported by the Russian Defense Ministry, the first time massive strikes on critical Ukrainian facilities were carried out on October 10-11.
