The Russian Defense Ministry showed how during one of the flights of the crews of Ka-52 helicopters, military equipment was found, as well as camouflaged positions of the Ukrainian military.
They were destroyed by airstrikes using unguided aircraft missiles.
The footage shows two Ka-52 helicopters preparing for departure, then patrolling and striking enemy positions and equipment. After completing the task, the helicopters return to the airfield.
The navigator-operator said that the crew was tasked to hit the enemy’s manpower accumulated in the forests.
“From a distance of five kilometers, the target was hit,” the military said.
According to him, an optoelectronic station is installed on the helicopter, which allows detecting targets at a distance of more than 10 kilometers. “Our combat use is of high precision,” the pilot noted.
Also, the crew members see with the help of this station, they see how the target is hit by the rupture itself and where the projectile fell.
The military man said that the helicopters are supported by the Ground Forces, who are very much waiting for this to be helped from the air.
