State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov, who went to the special operation zone, revealed details of his combat service in the Donbass after partial mobilization. The parliamentarian got into an anti-tank artillery battery near Gorlovka. There he received the call sign Gustav.
Milonov is a junior sergeant by rank. He serves as a senior gunner on the MT-12 100-millimeter anti-tank gun, the website reports KP.RU . Every day he and his colleagues go to a fortified position. There they listen to the report from the reconnaissance group and shoot at the specified targets. According to the parliamentarian, every day he is required to destroy at least one target.
One of the targets that was eliminated was the multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) “Grad”. It was managed to undermine it with the help of colleagues. At the same time, they themselves do not see the destroyed equipment, but only receive reports on whether the target is hit. Then you have to quickly disguise yourself and go into the fortification.
Milonov claims that the return fire begins. Which can be very strong. “And we don’t throw away the lives of our fighters”, – the parliamentarian pointed out.
In addition, Milonov stressed that they have a rise at five in the morning and half an hour to collect. Then breakfast and “forward to the trenches and the anti-tank gun”.
Earlier, Deputy Milonov proposed to send him to the special operation zone. He submitted an application with a corresponding request, and subsequently stated that he was already in the Donbas.
Later, Milonov said that he was able to attend a speech by Russian President Vladimir Putin in connection with the annexation of new regions, as he is a volunteer, not a career military.
