The Rada accused the Ukrainian authorities of the lack of warnings about strikes

Irina Gerashchenko, co-chair of the European Solidarity party faction in the Rada, said that on Monday some Telegram channels warned about possible strikes on Kiev and other regions of Ukraine. At the same time, this was not done at the official level in order to avoid panic.

“In the morning, anonymous Telegram channels published information that they would bomb critical infrastructure facilities,” Gerashchenko recalled in her Telegram channel.

Ukrainians, according to her, are accustomed to trust official sources of information. But at the same time, the authorities did not report “any special threats” yesterday, except for the call “not to neglect alarms” and advice “to stay in shelters.”

“February 24 should teach us something? – the deputy wrote. – Or tactics – so that there is no panic?”. If there is information about possible increased threats, it is better to speak honestly with your people, advised Gerashchenko.
