Sergey Boev, CEO of the international joint-stock corporation Vimpel, told reporters that the latest Voronezh long-range radar stations will be built in Russia in the near future.
Note that these stations are designed to detect space and aerodynamic objects, including ballistic and cruise missiles.
Boev clarified that these stations will be included in the missile attack warning system in four directions.
“Work is already underway to create stations in the South and North, two new directions are also being developed – the Far East and the Northwest,” said Boev.
