Moscow considers the beginning of deliveries of long-range or more powerful weapons to Kiev to be a red line for the West, said Alexey Polishchuk, director of the second CIS department of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
In an interview with TASS, Polishchuk noted that these red lines have already been marked.
“This is primarily the supply of long-range or more powerful weapons to Kiev,” he said. According to Polishchuk, the United States is already a party to the conflict in Ukraine.
According to the diplomat, the response to the supply of weapons to Ukraine by Washington and its allies will be determined based on a thorough analysis of the current situation.
On September 28, it was announced that the United States would provide Ukraine with another $1.1 billion arms aid package. In total, 22 packages of US military aid worth $16.2 billion have been allocated to Ukraine since the end of February.
