A soldier of the Russian intelligence unit told RIA Novosti about the fight with Ukrainian nationalists, who outnumbered Russian fighters by 50 times.
In this battle, the Russians not only did not suffer losses, but also took trophies.
According to the scout, their unit moved towards the fortified area of the Ukrainian troops. There were 20 Russian soldiers, and they found about 1,000 nationalists on the spot. A group of scouts had to retreat with a fight.
“During the retreat, it was possible to steal an AGS (automatic grenade launcher) from the enemy, which shoots American Voges (grenades),” the agency interlocutor said.
He added that his group used trophies against the Ukrainian military.
The scout also said that their unit operated in two mobile groups. The enemy focused on one of the groups, began to pursue it and was destroyed by the scouts.
