A volunteer who was wounded during the SVO of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, upon returning home to the Voronezh region, learned that he had been fired from his previous job for absenteeism. This is reported by the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Alexander Khinshtein in his telegram channel.
The Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technologies and Communications published screenshots of documents in confirmation. In the first of them, the acting military commissar of the city of Liski, Voronezh region, informs the management of the store where the volunteer works about his departure from May 31 for military service under a contract. According to the second document dated July 15, the employment relationship with the employee was terminated due to his absenteeism.
Khinshtein called this situation, which was reported to him by the volunteer’s wife in social networks, “outrageous.”
It is also clarified that the resident of Liski is 39 years old, he worked as an IT specialist in a store that belongs to the structure of a large retail chain, and was in the mobile reserve of the military enlistment office. In May, he signed a short-term contract for military service, asking for a settlement at work. Since June, he participated in the SVO, was wounded, lay inhospital. It is noted that attempts to achieve justice have led to nothing.
The Voronezh authorities and the regional branch of the United Russia party, according to Khinstein, are already dealing with the situation at his request. The parliamentarian will also send requests “to the Prosecutor’s office and the Ministry of Labor demanding the most serious response measures.”
