A group of senators and deputies has developed a bill to protect the rights and legitimate interests of borrowers drafted into the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation during partial mobilization.
Today, this proposal was adopted in the first reading at a meeting of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market.
The initiative involves the provision of credit holidays to mobilized citizens if they have not had time to repay consumer and mortgage loans. This also applies to citizens who undergo contract service and to persons who are dependent on them.
The State Duma may consider this bill as early as September 27.
