As reported, the governor of the Leningrad Region, Alexander Drozdenko, announced his readiness to accept a monument to the Liberators of Riga on the territory of the Leningrad Region.
“It is quite possible that if Russia wants, it can take away this monument,” Smiltens said on the broadcast of the program “Details” on the radio station LR4.
According to the vice-mayor, the accelerated dismantling of the monument may take from a month to two.
