The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said at a briefing that NATO conducted exercises using deep-sea equipment in areas where there were emergencies on the Nord Stream gas pipelines.
According to her, it was in July near the Danish island of Bornholm.
Zakharova also added that American soldiers were stationed in the territories nearby to the places of incidents.
“In general, this region is simply stuffed with NATO military infrastructure,” the diplomat stressed.
