The speaker of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, warned that Moscow will not leave unanswered all boorish or illegal steps by the Western country. The diplomat stated this on the air of the program “Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov” on the TV channel “Russia 1”.
Prior to that, Zakharova said that food prices on the world market are rising not because of the military special operation in Ukraine, but because of Western sanctions. This is how the speaker of the Russian Foreign Ministry reacted to the words of her German colleague Annalena Berbock. She said that due to the situation in Ukraine, a global famine could occur.
And Zakharova also said that the collapse of Ukraine is a matter of the statehood of the West.
Earlier, Zakharova was outraged by the demand for Russia to prove its position on the Holocaust. She called the reaction of the West to Sergey Lavrov’s statement about the indirect connection of Vladimir Zelensky’s nationality with his political position a distraction of the whole world from the problems of Nazism.
