Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky called the decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin to transfer the Zaporozhye NPP to federal ownership “insignificant and meaningless.”
“The decision of the Russian leader to transfer the Zaporozhye NPP into his own ownership is insignificant and, frankly, meaningless. This is a nuclear power plant, not some palace, not YUKOS or something else,” he said.
In his video message, Zelensky stressed that only Ukrainian specialists can guarantee that there will be no radiation incidents at this nuclear facility.
