State Duma deputy Maria Butina appealed to the head of Roskomnadzor Andrey Lipov and Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov with a request to check the Orthodox movement “Forty Magpies”. The reason for the parliamentarian’s interest in the movement was the posts of his representatives in social networks about vaccination against coronavirus. Butina published copies of the applications submitted to the departments in her telegram channel.
The documents say that a certain citizen Tatarenkov turned to Butina and said that “Forty Forty” writes on the Internet “on the topic of false conclusions about vaccination,” which, in his opinion, can “entail serious consequences for the health of citizens.”
Butina asked after checking the information provided to take action if necessary.
