Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev said that the scenario in which Ukraine would decide to take the forceful path of resolving the situation in the Donbass, pushing Russia and NATO, would be dramatic.
“It would be the most dramatic, simply catastrophic scenario. And I just hope that this will never happen,” Medvedev told reporters.
He added that in the United States and NATO countries, some “crazy hotheads” are talking about this topic. He himself expects that this will never happen.
He also said that Ukraine is being used as an instrument of geopolitical pressure on Russia and that it turned out to be a “toy” in the hands of the United States and NATO.
