In Greece, due to the increase in the number of people infected with coronavirus, mandatory vaccination was introduced for a number of workers.
As Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced during a televised address, the immediate mandatory vaccination of employees of nursing homes is now beginning. Anyone who does not get vaccinated will be suspended from work from August 16.
And from September 1, mandatory vaccination will be extended to medical workers, including those working in private clinics.
In addition, vaccination will be organized in military units.
Also, from July 16, all the interior spaces of nightclubs, bars, cinemas and theaters will be transferred to work exclusively for vaccinated people.
