The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan has raised the threat level of being on the territory of Ukraine to the fourth, which is the maximum. In this regard, the agency issued an appeal to Japanese citizens to leave Ukraine immediately.
The Foreign Ministry explained that the decision to increase the level of danger was dictated by “the continuing increase in tension on the Ukrainian-Russian border” and clarified that the termination of commercial air traffic with Ukraine is considered as a further step.
Yesterday it became known that the Russian Embassy in Kiev began to work on the issue of evacuation.
