The LDPR organized an urgent meeting due to the hospitalization of party leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky. It was attended by all members of the faction in the State Duma. It was also attended by the heads of all regional branches of the party.

These people declared “the need for an emergency congress, the redistribution of budgets.” On the other hand, they discussed a variety of issues, including how the party will live if the situation with Zhirinovsky’s illness drags on.

The politician was hospitalized in the Central Hospital of Moscow with a diagnosis of coronavirus. He has an “Omicron” strain detected. The course of the disease is complicated by diabetes and other chronic diseases of the politician.
