New York Times columnist Constant Mee said that the novel by author Giuliano da Empoli “The Kremlin Wizard” could lead to a national policy towards Ukraine.

According to him, this novel depicts a sympathetic portrait of the Russian leader. In it, Putin’s image is described benevolently, which, according to critics, indicates the possibility of changes in the country’s views on the Ukrainian crisis.

“Critics claim that the work “The Kremlin Wizard” raises concerns due to the fact that it may affect national policy regarding the conflict in Ukraine,” Mee said.

Recall that the novel was published after the beginning of the SVO in Ukraine became a “guide for understanding Putin.” After the book was published, its author was invited as an expert on Ukraine to various television programs.
