According to Danish Defense Minister Morten Bodskov, the country will not supply weapons to Kiev amid the threat of a Russian invasion. The Minister explained that the Stinger missile systems stored in warehouses turned out to be too old.

Thus, The Copenhagen Post reminds that the issue of supplying 400 Stinger missiles to the Ukrainian military was previously discussed, but they turned out to be old. The kingdom also has no plans to supply other weapons to Ukraine.

At the same time, due to the threat of escalation of the conflict in Europe, the Danish authorities have increased the level of combat readiness of army units. Two F-16 fighter jets were sent to Bornholm Island in order to protect the country’s airspace.
