The Russian Government has approved the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Russian Federation and Turkey on the development of trade and economic cooperation. The document is fully posted on the portal of draft regulatory legal acts.
It says about the adoption of the proposal of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, agreed with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and other interested federal executive authorities, as well as previously worked out with the Turkish side.
It is clarified that the Minister of Trade and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak was instructed to sign the memorandum on behalf of the Russian government, while allowing “changes that are not of a fundamental nature” to be made during the signing negotiations.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said earlier that Turkey and Russia signed a roadmap for economic cooperation and intend to increase trade turnover between the countries to $ 100 billion.
