Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Pyotr Tolstoy commented on the statement of People’s Artist of the USSR Alla Pugacheva, in which she expressed solidarity with her husband Maxim Galkin (recognized in Russia as a foreign agent) and demanded that the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation include her in the list of foreign agents.
The deputy expressed regret that Alla Pugacheva “lost touch with reality” and stood in solidarity with those who “today want Russia’s defeat.”
Pyotr Tolstoy believes that now Pugacheva’s place is in the “museum of the USSR times”. He also noted that it is the saddest thing for an artist to “stop feeling his people.” The deputy chairman of the State Duma also noted that Pugacheva, unlike Galkin, will not have another country.
“And she will not become a foreign agent, and she will no longer find support among decent Russian people. We will win without her songs,” he added in the comments of the telegram channel “Rise”.
