According to Vedomosti, the management of the American footwear and clothing manufacturer Nike has decided to curtail its activities in Russia.
It is clarified that the company did not renew the franchise agreement with Inventive Retail Group. IRG President Tikhon Smykov has already informed the company’s employees of the relevant information.
“The company will not be able to organize the delivery of goods in the foreseeable future and will be forced to close mono-brand stores”, – said Smykov.
Recall that IRG owns the largest single-brand chain of stores in Russia of the American retailer Nik.
