Biden: US seeks to avoid conflict between Russia and NATO

The President of the United States of America Joe Biden, in an interview with The New York Times, said that the White House does not want a war between NATO and Russia.

He clarified that the United States will not take direct part in the conflict in Ukraine, this is possible only when attacking allies or America

“We are not looking for a war between Russia and NATO. At the same time, as long as the United States or our allies are not attacked, we will not directly participate in the conflict. At the moment, we are not going to attack Russian troops and send American troops to Ukraine,” Biden said.

According to the head of the White House, the country’s authorities do not seek to overthrow the current leadership of Russia, despite all the differences. Biden also noted that the US military and intelligence do not see signs of a possible use of nuclear weapons by Russia.

Earlier, the official representative of the US State Department, Ned Price, said that America continues to analyze Ukraine’s needs in the field of weapons. At the same time, we are not talking about sending long-range missiles.
