Former Moldovan President Igor Dodon said that the country may lose part of its territories due to the “Russophobic” policy of Western countries and the imposed confrontation with Russia.

He clarified that as a result of such actions, Moldova may disappear as an independent state.

“We can not only lose profitable economic relations with partners located in the East, but also lose some of our territories. This may happen because of the Russophobic policy pursued by our authorities together with the West. As a result, Moldova may disappear as an independent state,” Dodon said.

Earlier it was reported that the court extended Dodon’s house arrest for another 30 days. The former President of Moldova was detained on May 24. He is suspected of passive corruption, illegal enrichment, using the money of a criminal organization to finance the party, as well as betrayal of the motherland.
