Ex-special forces soldier from the United States complained of a ruined life after a sex change

The retired Navy seal, who became famous almost 10 years ago after declaring himself transgender, announced that he was refusing to transition, and called on Americans to “wake up” to how transgender health services are harming children.

“Everything you see on CNN with my face, don’t even believe a word of it,” Chris Beck, formerly known as Christine Beck, said in an interview published earlier this month. “Everything that has happened to me over the past ten years has ruined my life. I’ve ruined my life. I’m not a victim. I did it to myself, but I had help.”

“I take full responsibility,” he continued. “I went to CNN and everything, and that’s why I’m here now, I’m trying to fix it.”

Beck gained fame in 2013 when he spoke with CNN correspondent Anderson Cooper about the transition from a man to a woman.

“I was used… I was very naive, I felt very bad, and I was taken advantage of. I was promoted. I was badly used by many people who had knowledge far beyond me. They knew what they were doing. I didn’t do it,” he said during the last interview.
